This policy explains cookies and similar technologies used on Nexpense, operated by NexClass Luxembourg S.à r.l.
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device. We also use similar browser storage (localStorage) where needed for the same purposes.
2. Essential cookies
Nexpense uses cookies that are necessary to operate the service:
- ascentra_session — keeps you signed in to an association staff or member account (HTTP-only).
- ascentra_platform_session — keeps platform administrators signed in (HTTP-only).
- association_slug — routes you to the correct association.
- ascentra_member_card — optional short-lived access for member card features.
- sidebar_state — remembers whether the navigation sidebar is expanded or collapsed.
3. Browser local storage
We also store small amounts of data in your browser’s local storage:
- ascentra:recent-login-links — recent association login shortcuts on the marketing site (you can remove entries in the login menu).
- Setup guide progress flags — remembers dismissed onboarding checklist state per association.
4. Analytics
We use Vercel Analytics to collect aggregate, cookieless page-view statistics. It does not use advertising cookies and does not track you across other websites.
5. Search engines and indexing
Public marketing pages are listed in /sitemap.xml and may be crawled and displayed by search engines such as Google. Search crawlers do not receive Nexpense sign-in cookies.
If you reach our site from a search result, your visit is measured like any other page view (see Analytics above). Google Search Console is used only by us as site operator and does not set cookies on your browser when you browse Nexpense.
6. No advertising cookies
We do not use cookies for targeted advertising on Nexpense. If this changes, we will update this policy and, where required, ask for consent before non-essential cookies are set.
7. Managing cookies and storage
You can block or delete cookies and clear local storage in your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies may prevent you from signing in or using core features.
